Cocoon
（コクーン・繭）

Cocoon is a series that seeks to explore vulnerability and the journey of identifying the self in a space that one may or may not call home.
「Cocoon」は、故郷と呼ぶには曖昧な場所における人々の脆弱性と自己探しの旅を表現します。

暖かさ、保護、成長、変化
でも、それは殻に過ぎない。

生き物がその限界を超えて成長するとき
捨てられる殻。

私たちの繭は
物語でできていて
ある匂いに込められた
ノスタルジー、
行動や言葉が宿っている。

そして知らずに
ただ感じるだけのこと

This solo photo exhibition opened 22nd of November, 2024 at MIDORI.so BAKUROYOKOYAMA Gallery, where three selected images were on display as large-scale handprints and proof sheets to the public for two weeks, closing 8th December.

新作個展「Cocoon」が11月22日より東京・馬喰町のMIDORI.so BAKUROYOKOYAMA GALLERYで開催される。長さ約2mに及ぶ3枚の暗室手焼きカラープリントと9枚の小さなカラープリントを伴う、アナログ写真技法にフォーカス。
